Integration Summary

The Zevo Benefits & Paylocity integration uses Paylocity's secure API to exchange employee and benefits data between the two systems. Once activated, the integration pulls employee records from Paylocity into Zevo and pushes benefit elections and deductions back to Paylocity on a scheduled basis. This ensures both systems stay aligned throughout open enrollment, new hire onboarding, qualifying life events, and ongoing administration.

Steps to Activate the Integration

  1. Confirm your Zevo Benefits account is active and your group is configured.
  2. Request the Zevo Benefits integration through the Paylocity Marketplace listing above.
  3. The Paylocity team will provide your Zevo implementation contact with the Paylocity Company ID(s) to be connected.
  4. Complete field mapping and validation with the Zevo team to match Paylocity deduction codes and demographic field mappings.
  5. Run a test sync, review results, and approve go-live.

How Data Flows Between Systems

The integration is bi-directional. Employee and organizational data flow from Paylocity into Zevo Benefits, while benefit elections and payroll deductions flow from Zevo Benefits back into Paylocity.

Paylocity → Zevo Benefits (Pull)

  • Employee demographics (name, DOB, SSN, address, contact info)
  • Employment details (hire date, status, termination date, employee class)
  • Compensation data used for benefits calculations
  • Pay groups, cost centers, and department/location assignments

Zevo Benefits → Paylocity (Push)

  • Benefit elections and effective dates

Sync Cadence
